Went to the Red Sea to recover a heilcopter... Twas my first job with ISS.

Flew out to Cairo, spent the night, transported via the Deathbus to Suez, where we were "processed" and despatched to our ship, the Ile De Batz (yes I know its a silly name, but its French...) via Deathboat.

Egypt can be a scary place...

Also spent some time in port in Jeddah... We never got off the boat, and there was no booze anyways... Sometimes, this industry sucks... Gone are the days of the Rum ration!
Also, I never got to go see Meca which is only 80miles from Jeddah... Gutted.

Anyways, had plenty of time to take pics, and got a few corkers, mainly sunsets and the likes, althgouh I just wished that I could have had pics of the stars at night, it was like nothing I've ever seen before, even in the desert... It was a stunning sight...
