On our way up to Thurso, we spotted the Causeymire Windfarm, and as I am a very big fan of wind farms, I decided that I wanted to get closer to it, and while I was at it take some pictures of it... I WAS going to put them with the other pics of Thurso, but seeing as I think they hold plenty of weight, so to speak on there own, I decided to give them there own page.

To stand next to one of these mighty creations, really is something else, they are a very moving sight, just the sheer scale of the things, especaily when you are standing right next to one! This is the first time that I have been up close to one of these giant wind turbines, and when you see them, from anything up to 20 metres away, you dont here the noise, but when you right underneath one, there is a very definite buzz to them...
